Communication
Communication is an integral part of any project and is essential to have good communication throughout the entire development process in order to attain the best possible end result.
Our goal is to work with our clients in a collaborative effort and we strongly encourage active participation in the development process to ensure that the work we produce is an accurate representation of what our clients envision for their company.
Design
During the design phase, we develop potential concepts through brainstorming sessions with the client and among our team as well. These concepts may consist of rough sketches and/or computer-based drafts, which are then uploaded to our server upon where the client can view the drafts.
The conceptual phase is where a piece starts to take shape. Elements weighed are color schemes, taglines and structure. During this phase, initial design drafts are presented and the client is asked to provide feedback on what they like, how it feels and why they think a particular element works best, until the final concept is chosen.
Production
Once a concept is chosen, the idea is then developed and primed. During this phase, the approach that is chosen is refined and the layout is solidified. Once this step has been completed, new versions of design drafts are presented to the client and at this point, revisions are made and a final draft is presented.
In the case of web sites, the finished site is deployed on the web host server, tweaked and then tested.
In the case of print projects, the print company may be contacted for quotes, and the client is provided with all the files necessary to have the job printed. Supporting information on the job such as its intended display characteristics, fonts used, colors chosen, etc. is also included to help the print company produce the piece as it was intended to appear.
